Ane Elisabeth Rasmusdatter: 5th Child of Rasmus and Anne

Confirmation, Vester Velling parish, page 126. Ane Elise Rasmusdatter was confirmed in 1839 at the age of 14 3/4. Her birthday is listed as July 6, 1824 and the priest writes that she understands the catechism.

Departure record, Vester Velling parish, page 207. Ane Elise is 15 years old and is leaving to Langaae parish which is only two parishes over from where she is currently living. The date recorded is the October 28, 1839. To leave, one had to prove that they had been confirmed and had been vaccinated against smallpox or had the disease. The right column documents that she has the correct paperwork.

Departure, Vester Velling parish, page 209. Ane Elise is 16 and leaving to Gronbaek parish which is about 6 parishes away from where she was living. The year is 1840.

Marriage, Vester Velling parish, page 107. Ane Elisabeth Rasmusdatter, age 19 marries Niels Jensen age 29 years on December 2, 1843.

1850 Census, Sonder Vinge parish, page 11. Niels Jensen, age 36 is an owner of his house and living on his plot, is married to Ane Elise age 26. They have two living children at this time, Jensine Cathrine Nielsdatter (born in Vester Velling), age 7, and Ane Niesldatter age 2 (born in Sonder Vinge).

1855 Census, Vinkel parish, page 5. Niels is 41, Ane Elise is 31. Niels is listed as being from Albek parish, Alborg county. Jensine Claudiane is 11, Ane Kirstine is 8. They have two more living children, Jens Peder Langvad, age 5, and Christine Else Marie Nielsen, age 1, both born in Vinge parish.

1860 Census, Vinkel parish, page 11. Niels is 46, Ane Elise is 36. Niels is listed as being born in Albaek parish, Alborg county. Jensine Claudiane is 16, Ane Kirstine is 13, Jens Peder is 10, Christine is 6 and Jorgine Sophie, their newest addition, is 3 years old. All but Jensine were born in Vinge parish.

1870 Census, Vinkel parish, page 8. Niels is 55 and a farmer on his own plot of land. Ane Elise is 45. Jensine Claudiane has left and Jens Peder is the oldest living at home at 19. Christine Else Marie is 15, Jorgine Cecile is 12, Ane Marie is 9 and a new addition to the family is Niels Christian Lundorf who is 4 and is a "foster child" born in Vinkel.

Death, Almind parish, page 136. Niels Jensen Langvad passes away on June 27, 1873 at the age of 58. Almind parish is two parishes over from Vinkel parish. They have left their farm and are living in a new parish.

Death, Almind parish, page 225. Ane Elise Rasmusdatter passes away on March 16, 1907. She is listed as the widow of farmer Niels Jensen Langvad. She was born in Hvorslev to Rasmus Nielsen. She is 82 years old at the time of her death.
