Ane Jensdatter: Distant relative of Afton Hansen Nelson

Roskilde parish register, page 177.  Marriage.  Ane Jensdatter is married to Peder Andersen.  Ane was the first child of Jens Mortensen and Sidse Jacobsdatter.  In the interest of time in the future, I will post 1 image and write most of the information I find with the locations.  The information will be updated in Family Search.   Ane was born in April 6, 1820 in Svogerslev parish.  She was married to Peder as above.  The marriage record has the name of her brother Hans Jensen who lived in Jorgensbjerg.  Peder and Ane move there and have two children, Peder Soren Pedersen b September 1852 and Anders Pedersen b September 10, 1858.  No other children are found in the records from 1851-1861.  Her husband Peder was born February 1821 in Gershoj parish.  Peder's parents are found in the 1834 and 1845 Gershoj census.  They were married November 17, 1818 (Page 49 Gershoj parish register) and they had two children Ane Andersdatter and Peder.  Peder's fathers name was Anders born in Saebye parish and Dorthe born in Schibye in Frederikborg county.  

I find Ane and Peder in the 1860, 1870, and 1880 Skt Jorgensbjerg census.  I have yet to find their death records.  

Albrecht Pedersen: Last child of Peder Hansen and Bodil Albrechtsdatter (Ancestor of Afton Hansen)

Confirmation, Hvedstrup Parish Register, page 101.  Albrecht Pedersen is confirmed December 1832.  His birth is listed as December 1, 1817.  


   
Marriage, Gundsomanle parish, page 79.  Albrecht Pedersen marries Kirstin Rasmusdatter, June 14, 1850.  Albrecht is 32 and Kirstin is 47.  I find him in the Gundsomagle census and married in 1860 and the Hvedstrup census and single in 1850.    


Death, Gundsomagle parish register, page 127.  Albrecht Pedersen dies at the age of 44.  He dies April 24, 1861 and is buried May 5.  The cause of death is listed on the right but I cannot read it.

Jens Jorgensens Family: Wife of Karen Pedersdatter (Brother Of Hans Pedersen)

 Birth, Hvedstrup parish register, page 18.  Jens is born prior to the marriage of his parents on October 19, 1821.  He would die the same day (see the next record).

Death, Hvedstrup parish register, page 118.  Jens dies the same day.

Marraige, Hvedstrup parish register, page 84.  Jorgen Pedersen, the father of Jens Jorgensen who married Karen Pedersdatter, is married to Ane Jensdatter on December 27, 1821.  Jorgen was 24 and Ane was 20 1/2.  Peder Nielsen is listed as is Lars Pedersen.

 Birth, Hvedstrup parish register, page 71.  Kirsten is born in December of 1840.  the page is cut off with the day but she is christened on December 26.

Death, Hvedstrup parish register, page 327.  Kirsten dies December 23, 1847.  She was 7 years old.

Karen Pedersdatter: Great aunt of Afton and daughter of Peder Hansen who was Afton's great great grandfather

Birth, Hvedstrup parish register, page 19.  Jens Jorgensen is born to Jorgen Pedersen and Ane Jensdatter on December 18, 1822 (?).  He will later marry Karen Pedersdatter.  

 Marraige, Hvedstrup parish register, page 169.  Karen Pedersdatter, age 39 1/2, NOT a widow, marries Jens Jorgensen June 7, 1850.  Jens is 28.  She was 74 years old.

Death, Hvedstrup parish register, page 180.  Karen dies May 18, 1885.

 Death, Hvedstrup parish register, page 122.  Jens Jorgensen dies July 5, 1896 in Hvedstrup village and parish.  His parents were Jorgen Pedersen and Ane Jensdatter of Herringlose.  His wife was Karen Pedersdatter.  He was 73 years old.

Peder Hansen Family: Great Grandfather to Afton Nelson

Marriage, Hvedstrup parish register, page 38.  Peder's father Hans Josephsen of Himmeluv marries Sidse Pedersdatter of Herringclose in 1767 (March 17?).   

Birth, Hvedstrup parish register, page 132.  Peder Hansen is born Dom 4p Circumus (?) in 1773. Not sure what feast day that correlates with.   

Birth, Flong parish register, page 87.  Bodil Albrechtsdatter is born in 1784.  She would grow up and marry Peder Hansen.  

Marriage, Flong parish register, page 118.  Peder Hansen whose birth record is just above, is married July 26 (?) in 1806 to Bodil Albrechsdatter.  

Birth, Hvedstrup parish register, page 158.  Hans Pedersen.  1st child of Hans Josephsen and Bodil Albrechsdatter.   

Death, Hvedstrup parish register, page 127.  This and the preceding record show the birth and death of Hans Pedersen.  He is born or christened on April 12, 1807.  He dies August 16, 1807.  

Birth, Hvedstrup parish register, page 12.  Hans Pedersen is born in 1809.  I cannot make out the date within the text.  

Birth, Hvedstrup parish register, page 14.  Child #3 Karen is born.  The date is hard to make out but is possibly October 3, 1810.  

Birth, Hvedstrup parish register, page 35.  Child #4 Sidse is born January 13, 1815.  

 Death, Hvedstrup parish register, page 110.  Sidse dies January 24, 1815.
 

 Birth, Hvedstrup parish register, page 22.  Albrecht is born in 1817.  I cannot understand the written date.  He is the last child in the family.

Hans Pedersen and Johanne Jacobsdatter Deaths (Father to Jacob Hansen)

Death, Hoje Taastrup parish register, page 92.  Hans Pedersen dies October 18, 1869.  He was 60 years old.

Death, Hoje Taastrup parish register, page 263.  Johanne Pedersen (born Jacobsdatter) dies March 17, 1879.  She was 76 years old.  By this time Jacob Hansen had joined the LDS church and gone to America.  Their second son Peder Hansen is found in the 1850, 1860, and 1870 census, but I cannot find him after that.  I have search through the death records in Hoje Taastrup through 1891 and have expanded my census search through all of Copenhagen county to no avail.

Hans Pedersen (Great grandfather of Afton Hansen) and Johanne Jacobsdatter....eventually!

Birth, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 232.  Margrethe is born to the unmarried Maren Olesdatter in July 1 (?) of 1821.  The writing underneath the birth mentions Niels Nielsen, farmer, whom she would later marry and in the 1834 census she is listed as his step daughter.   There is a Niels Jacobsen who works for Niels Nielsen who is listed in the record who is the biological father. You'll see how these people, and others, tie together with Hans Pedersen and Johanne Jacobsdatter.    

Marriage, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 185.  Niels Nielsen, aged 23 (b. 1801) marries Maren Olesdatter, age 19 (b. 1804), father Ole Pedersen of Klotofte December 3, 1824.  

Birth, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 248.  Anna Nielsdatter is born March 7, 1825.  She is alive in the 1845 Hoje Taastrup census.  

 Birth, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 39.  Niels Nielsen is born to Niels and Maren on January 19, 1826.  

Death, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 14.  Niels Nielsen dies at 14 days old on February 7, 1826. 

Birth, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 42.  Niels Nielsen is born November 21, 1826.  

Death, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 21.  Niels Nielsen dies January 29, 1831.  

Birth, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 49.  Peder Nielsen is born July 3, 1828.  He is alive in the 1845 parish census as well.  

Birth, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 269.  Ellen Nielsdatter is born May 31, 1832.  

Death, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 180.  Sadly, both Maren Olesdatter and their daughter Ellen Nielsdatter are listed on this page.  Maren dies august 9, 1832 and Ellen dies August 30, 1832.  Niels Nielsen is now without a wife and has three living children.  His future wife is Johanna Jacobsdatter whose 1st marriage ends in the death of her first husband.   

Marriage, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 214.  Jeppe Soresnen, age 34 (possible born or christened April 30, 1797 to Soren Jensen) marries Johanna Jacobsdatter, age 28 (b. 1803) whose father is Jacob Olsen of Svogerslev.  They marry May 24 1831.  

Birth, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 65.  Soren Jeppesen is born January 21, 1832.  

Death, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 23.  Soren Jeppesen dies March 22, 1832.  

Death, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 24.  Jeppe Sorensen dies July 10, 1832, leaving Johanna Jacobsen a widow.  

Marriage, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 227.  Niels Nielsen age 32 and the widow Johanna Jacobsdatter marry November 22, 1833.  Niels is from Klovtoft.  His father is Niels Jensen.  I think it says he was vaccinated in 1808 in Kongstad/Ballerup.  Johanna is the widow of Jeppe Sorensen, is 30 years old, and the daughter of Jacob Olsen of Sogerslev and also was vaccinated in 1808.  

Birth, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 279.  Niels and Johanna have a girl named Kirsten, born August 24, 1834.  

Death, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 196.  Kirsten Nielsdatter dies January 7, 1841.  

Birth, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 83.  Jacob Nielsen is born August 17, 1836.  

Death, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 39.  Jacob Nielsen dies January 5, 1841.  

Death, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 33.  Niels Nielsen dies July 24, 1836.  Johanna Jacobsdatter will marry Hans Pedersen our direct descendant as in the prior post.  

 Marriage, Hoje Tastrup parish register, page 241.  Hans Pedersen, 28, marries Johanne Jacobsdatter, widow, April 6, 1837.  They would have two children.  One would join the LDS faith and travel to America.  The second I have not found out yet what happened to him.
