Marriage, Bjerring parish register, page 161. Anders Sorensen Hvam of Vindum overgaard marries Mariane Stephensdatter of Bjerring on August 22, 1824. Witnesses were Thomas Sorensen Hvam (Anders eldest brother) and soren Waltergaard of Bjerring. Bjerring borders Vindum to the northwest.

Birth, Bjerring parish register, page 29. Gedske Andersdatter is born November 6, 1824 and christened in the church December 19, 1824. The witnesses were Soren Hvam, Gedske Hermansdatter of Vindum. Hermand Hvam, Thomas Hvam, Hermand Nielsen--all of Vindum.

Birth, Bjerring parish register, page 36. Soren Andersen is born August 25, 1827 and christened in the church November 4. Present are Maren Stephensdatter, Else Mortensdatter, Niels ?, chirsten ?, and Niels Hansen of Bjerring.

Birth, Vindum parish register, page 44. Ane Kjerstine Andersen is born May 16, 1836 and is christened May 12. Present is Herman Hvam.

Birth, Vindum parish register, page 62. Maren Andersen is born June 27, 1838 and christened September 16. This is the sixth and last child born to Anders and Mariane.

Death, Vindum parish register, page 252. Ane Kjerstine passes away December 19, 1839 at the young age of 3 years and 7 months. She is buried December 26. She was born May 16, 1836.

1840 Vindum parish census, page 10. The last family (#40) shows that Anders is 44, Mariane is 40, Gedske is 14, Soren 13, Johanne 10, Stephen 7, and Maren 2. Anders is a farmer living on hiw own plot of land.

1845 Vindum parish census, page 18. Anders is 48, Mariane is 45, Johanne is 16, Stephen is 12, and Maren is 7. Mariane and Johanne were both born in Bjerring parish while the others were all born in Vindum parish.

1850 Vindum parish census, page 11. Anders is 53, Mariane is 50, Gjedske has returned to home and is 26 and unmarried. Maren is 12.

1855 Vindum parish census, page 19. Anders is 59, Mariane is 56, and Johanne is 26 and unmarried.
