Jens Jensen Aagaard Family (Part 2)

Birth, Hvorslev parish register, page 26. Theobold Edmund Regnhardt Dybdahl ?orsted Poulsen (Poulsen is crossed out and Aagaard has been added) was born on July 27, 1899. He is born in Viborg Kobstad to the unmarried girl Gertrud Marie Poulsen. The father is the unmarried Kristian Thomasen of Sondergaard Vestering. He is christened November 19, 1899. There is writing in the last column dated 1972 that discusses his last name becoming Aagaard.
Interestingly the baby is carried by Anton Jensen's wife Kristen of Hvorslev. Jens Johan Jensen of Amstrup is also present. Interestingly, there is a Kristine Pedersen of Amstrup...? Jens Jensen's Aagaard's wife?

Marriage, Humlum parish register, Ringkobing county, page 266. Jens Jensen, born in Hvorslev, born February 19, 1863, son of Jens Jensen and Ane Sofie Jensdatter of Amstrup Mark, marries Gjertrud Marie Poulsen, born in Humlum parish May 5, 1874 to Lars Poulsen and Sophie Dorthe Christensen. They are married August 5, 1900.

1901 Hvorslev parish census, page 106. Jens Jensen is living in Amstrup with wife Gjertrud Marie. The children listed are Theobold Dybdal Poulsen, ane Sophie, Petrine Karoline Olivia, Jenssine Johanne, Jens Johan, Karl Otto Aagaard, and Anthon Marius. Their last name is Jensen. Their birthdates are listed. The birthplace for Ane Sophie and Petrine Karoline Olivia are incorrect as they were born in Gerning.

Birth, Hvorslev parish register, page 29. Lars Kristian Aagaard Jensen is born April 11, 1901 and christened July 7, 1901. Gertrud is 26 years old.

Death, Hvorslev parish register, page 169. Lars Kristian Aagaard Jensen dies August 6, 1903 in Amstrup Mark and buried August 11. He was 2 years old.

1906 Hvorslev parish census. Jens Jensen Aagaard is living in Amstrup with Gjertrud Marie. Jens's father Jens Jensen and mother Ane Sofie Jensen are living with them. Jens's twin sisters Rasmine Jensen and Severine Kuerstine Jensen are living with them as well. Karl Otto Aagaard, Anton Marus Aagaard, Jens Johan Aagard, and Theobold are living with the family.

Birth, Hvorslev parish register, page 55. Ansgar Sofus Aagaard is born April 3, 1909 in Amstrup Mark. Gertrud was 34. He was christened May 11. Anton Jensen's wife carried the baby. Johanne Jensen Aagaard, Jens Johan Jensen of Hvorlsev were witnesses. There are no birth events for Jens and Gertrud from 1901 to 1909 in the Hvorslev parish register and the census's show they lived in Amstrup in 1906 so I think that they did not have any children between 1901 and 1909.

1911 Hvorslev parish census, page 32. Jens and Gertrud are living in Amstrup. Anton Marius, Theobold, and Ansgar are living with the family. Also present are Jen's father Jens and twin sisters Severine Kirstine and Rasmine.

Birth, Hvorslev parish register, page 8. Arne Svend Aagaard is born September 27, 1911. Gjertrud was 37. Christened November 19, 1911.

Birth, Hvorslev parish register, page 14. Johannes Laurids Aagaard is born December 23, 1913 in Amstrup Mark. Gjertrud is 39. He is christened January 18, 1914.

Birth, Hvorslev parish register, page 64. Krista Eleonora Aagaard is born July 25, 1915 in Amstrup. Jens Jensen is 52 and Gjertrud is 41. He is christened August 22. Jensine Johanne Aagaard (Thestrup), Jens Johan Aagaard (Hvorslev), Karl Otto Aagaard (Vellev) and Anton Aagaard (Hvorslev) are present.

Hvorslev parish register, page 62. Jens Aagaard and Gjertrud are in Amstrup. Living with them are their children Jens Johan, Theobold Aagaard, Sofus, Svend, Johannes, and Eleonora. Jen's twin sisters Kirstine and Rasmine are living with them as well. They are unmarried.

Birth, Hvorslev parish register, page 24. Johan Vagner Aagaard is born may 8, 1918 in Amstrup. Jens Jensen was 55 and Gjertrud was 44. He is christened August 3, 1918. Witnesses were Anton Jensen wife (Hvorslev), Johanne Jensen (Randers), Karl Aagaard and two other Jensen children, (all Hvorslev).

1921 Hvorslev parish census, page 38. Jens and Gertrud are in Amstrup. Living with them are Sofus, Svend, Johannes, Eleonora, Vagner, and Theobold. Jens twin sisters Rasmine and Kirstine are livign with them as well.

Birth, Hvorslev parish register, page 82. Gudrun Marie Aagaard is born December 31, 1921 in Hvorslev Mark to Anton Marius Jensen Aagaard, age 24, and Jensine Petrea Kjar (?), age 24 of Hvorslev Mark. She is christened February 5, 1922. Anton Marius is one of the children of Jens Jensen and shows me that Jens has children that continued to live in Hvorslev and they used the last name of Aagaard.

1930 Hvorslev parish census, page 32. Jens and Gertrud are in Amstrup. Living with them is Ansgar Sofus, Johan Vagner, and Jen's sister Severine Kirstine. The names they used were underlined (my guess).

Death, Hvorslev parish register, page 193. Jens Jensen Aagaard passes away august 25, 1940 in Aldrup? Mark in Hvorslev. He is buried August 30. He was the widow of Kristine Pedersen who died December 16, 1898. He was married August 5, 1900 in Humlum to Gjertrud Marie Poulsen. He was the son of farmer Jens Jensen and Ane Sophie Jensdatter of Amstrup Mark. He was 77 years old. The parish registers end in 1943 and I do not find the death of Gjertrud up to this point.
