Birth, Vester Velling parish register, page 85. Mette Katrine Nielsen is born June 28, 1880. Mette was 26. Present were brother, Jens Nielsen of Oster Velling, father, Niels Rasmussen of Lille Torup. Mette Kathrine will live past 1938 when the records end online. She will marry and I can find her in the Vester Velling censuses living in Lille Torup (1901, page 219; 1906, page 10; 1911, page 12; 1916, page 57; 1921, page 30; 1925, page 8; 1930, page 51).
Birth, Vester Velling parish register, page 87. Mette Nielsine Nielsen is born August 21, 1881. A bachelor Jens Nielsen of Terp is present (? Mette's brother).
Death, Vester Velling parish register, page 257. Mette Nielsen passes away December 9, 1911 in Terp. She is buried December 18. She was unmarried and was 30 years old. I've found her in the 1906 Vester Velling census, page 6, and in 1911, page 7--in both she is living with her mother Mette.
Stillborn, Vester Velling parish register, page 33. A girl is born November 17, 1883. Mette was 29.
Stillborn death, Vester Velling parish register, page 101. She is buried November 25.
Birth, Vester Velling parish register, page 17. Anton Nielsen is born November 18, 1886 and christened January 23, 1887 in the church. Present are sister, Birgitte Nielsen of Lille Torup. Anton is present in the Vester Velling censuses in 1901 (page 219) and 1911 (page 7) but I lose him after this as he leaves the parish.
1890 Vester Velling census, page 28. Simon is 44, Mette is 35. They are in Terp. Children present are Nielsine, age 8, Anton, age 3, and Mette Kathrine, age 9.
Birth, Vester Velling parish register, page 64. Ane Margrete Nielsen is born June 19, 1893 in Terp. Mette was 39. She will be the last child born into the family. Brother in law Niels Peter Nielsen of Terp is present. She is present in the Vester Velling 1930 Census, page 40.
1901 Vester Velling Census, page 219. In Terp, are Simon Peter, born 11/27/1845. Mette Andrea, 2/25/1854, Mette Kathrine, 6/28/1880, Anton 11/18/1886, and Ane Margrethe 6/19/1893.

Death, Vester Velling parish register, page 224. Simon Peter Nielsen dies July 26, 1908 in Terp. He is buried July 31. He was 62 years old. He was born in Mammen parish, son of "Bolsejer" (?) Niels Petersen and Ane Marie Simonsdatter. He was married to Mette Andrea Nielsen of Terp.
1911 Vester Velling census, page 7. In Terp are Mette and her children Nielsine and Anton.
1921 Vester Velling census, page 46. Mette is nowhere to be found in the 1916 census and neither is her married daughter Ane Margrethe that year as well. In 1921 they are in Terp. Mette is living with Ane Margrethe and I believe Ane's child born 9/8/1917, Sigrid Hvoe in Terp. Ane is not married.
1925 Vester Velling census, page 31. In Terp, Mette Andrea is living with Anne Margrete and Anne's two children Signe Andrea Ilsa (9/8/1917: compare with the name in the prior census) and Eva Guidrun? Nielsen born 1/10/1924.
Death, Vester Velling parish register, page 221. Mette Andrea Nielsdatter passes away April 14, 1927 in Terp and is buried April 21. She was the widow of Simon Peder Nielsen of Terp. She was the daughter of Niels Rasmussen of Lille Torup and Ane Marie Jensdatter. She was 73 years old.
