Ane Nielsen Family (The rest of the story)

 Birth, Hjermind parish register, page 27.  Jens Peter Nielsen is born September 8, 1833 to Niels Jensen and Birth Sophie Christensdatter.  He is christened October 20.  When I was looking for a sister of Ane Nielsen in Vester Velling parish I stumbled on the birth record in the next image and then realized that Ane Nielsen and family had moved to Vester Velling right after the 1880 census.  They lived there for the remainder of their lives and had three more children together.  I found Jen's Peter's birthdate and place in the census and death record for him.

 Birth, Vester Velling parish, page 86.  Mette Marie Sofie Nielsen is born January 23, 1881 and christened April 18.  Ane was 37.  Witnesses included Simon P. Nielsen's wife (Ane's sister Mette), Niels Rasmussen, who is likely Ane's father, of Lilletorup.

Birth, Vester Velling parish register, page 7.  Soren Nielsen is born October 4, 1882 and christened march 22 in the church.  Ane was 38 years old.  They are living in Lilletorup.  Present are the unmarried Birgitte Nielsen (Ane's sister), Niels Rasmussen, again likely her father.

Birth, Vester Velling parish register, page 34.  Ane Nielsen is born March 10, 1884 and is christened in the church March 21.  Ane was 39 years old.

Death, Vester Velling parish register, page 101.  Unfortunately four days after the birth of Ane, Ane Nielsen, the mother, passes away March 14, 1884 and is buried March 21.  The proximity of her death to the birth of her daughter makes it likely that this was due to complications of childbirth.  Her husband was Jens Peter Nielsen of Lilletorup.  She was 39 years old.

Death, Vester Velling parish register, page 102.  Ane Nielsen, the last child born to Jens and Ane, dies July 23, 1884 and is buried July 30.  She was the daughter of farmer Jens Peter Nielsen of Lilletorup.  She was 5 months old.

Marriage, Vester Velling parish register, page 84.  Widowed farmer Jens Peter Nielsen, born September 8, 1833, 51 year old, of Lilletorup village marries the girl Ane Marie Jensen, born August 27, 1841, age 43.  The date is January 23, 1885.  I find no children born to them in the parish register.

1890 Vester Velling census, page 44.  In Lilletorup village lives Jens Peder Nielsen, age 55, born in Hjermind and his children Niels Peder Nielsen, age 10, born in Sonder Vinge, Mette Marie Sofie Nielsen, age 9, Soren Nielsen, age 7.  Also listed is Johanne Birgitte Nielsen, age 27, a weaver, who is likely Ane's younger, unmarried sister.  She is listed as the   Last is Ane Marie Jensen, age ?9 born in Sonder Vinge, the wife of Jens.  She is described as a ?glikone, kone means wife.
 

1901 Vester Velling census, page 300.  Jens Peter Nielsen is living in Lilltorup, born September 8, 1833 in Hjermind parish.  Marie Jensen, his wife, was born August 27, 1841 in Had? parish.  Also living with them is a widow Johanne Marie Jensen born in 1821.

Death, Vester Velling parish register, page 221.  Jens Peter Nielsen dies April 29, 1904 in Lille Torup, Vester Velling parish, Middelsom district.  He is buried May 6.  He was a householder in Lille Torup, born in Hjermind, Son of Niels Jensen and Birthe Sofie Christensen.  He was married to Marie Jensen of Lille Torup.  He was 70 years old.  I searched for Marie Jensen's death record but did not find it in Vester Velling through 1938.
