1834 Karup parish census, page 3. I knew that Christen Jensen had a sister named Maren as I saw her on the 1801 census for the Jens Christensen family. She was 1 years old at the time. I did not find her birth in the Karup parish register and unfortunately the Horby parish register is illegible during this time. I did search for her in the danish census records and found this family: Peder Christian Pedersen age 28 living at Hojenshuus is married to a Maren Jensdatter, age 34. They have two children: Inger Kirstine, 7, and Jens Peter Pedersen, age 3. As I researched this family, I made enough connections to where I am quite confident that this is Jens Christensens daughter and Christen Jensen's younger sister.

Death, Karup parish register, page 141. Jens Peter Pedersen dies July 21, 1826. He was 1/3 years olds.
Marriage, Karup parish register, page 91. Maren Jensdatter, age 34 marries Peder Christian Pedersen, age 20. Present are Peder Jensen and Christen Jensen of Lykken?. Maren had a brother named Christen Jensen. They are married October 13, 1826.
Birth, Karup parish, register, page 37. Inger Kirstine is born June 3, 1827. Present people include a man named Jens Christensen from K?rkedah?. Maren's father's name was Jens Christensen. The name of where he lives is also associated with Maren when she is married.
Birth, Karup parish register, page 7. Jens Peter Pedersen is born March 28, 1831. Jens Christensen is not listed in the witness section so I assumed he must have died between 1827 and 1831. Sure enough I found a death record for Jens Christensen in page 141 of the Karup register for January 14, 1831. He is listed as 73 years old. Jen's wife Inger is living with her son Lars in the 1834 Horby census as documented in a prior post. Also Inger is a family name and Maren did name a daughter Inger.
Birth, Karup parish register, page 9. Christian Pedersen is born May 17, 1834. Christen Jensen of Hoj? is listed. Again Maren's brother was named Christen Jensen and he lived in Hjorby the neighboring parish.
Death, Karup parish register, page 155. Maren dies for an unwritten reason April 16, 1840. She is listed as 42. The family is not in the 1840 Karup census and I cannot find them on that census year in Hjorring or in any other census after.
