Hans Pedersen Family. Father of Jacob Hansen who was the grandfather of Afton Nelson

 Marriage, Hoje Taastrup parish register, page 241.  Hans Pedersen, 28 years, marries Johannes Jacobsdatter (a widow) who was 34 on April 6, 1837.  In looking through the births of boys and girls from the parish records, these are the only two children she had with Hans through 1845.

 Birth, Hoje Taastrup parish register, page 109.  Jacob Hansen is born November 21, 1842. Jacob would join the LDS faith and go to Utah.  

Birth, Hoje Taastrup parish register, page 125.  Peder Hansen is born June 27, 1845.  His death in family search is recorded as November 15, 1887 but no location is given.

 Marriage, Onsbjerg parish register, page 92.  Mauritz Truelsen marries Bodil Jensdatter who is the daughter of this couple.  Jens Pedersen 25 (1789) marries Abel Marie Tonnesdatter, 20 (1792) October 2, 1816.

Birth, Onsbjerg parish register, page 49.  Ane Mette is born January 10, 1817 in Onsbjerg.  

 Confirmation, Koldby parish register, page 92.  Ane Mette is confirmed in 1831.  She is not on the 1834 census, but was around 14 years old at this time of the confirmation.

 Birth, Onsbjerg parish register, page 28.  Peder is born in 1819.  The date is hard to read.  There is a record of him on family search being christened on September 5, 1819.  

 Birth, Onsbjerg parish register, page 24.  Bodil, Mauritz's wife, is born March 4, 1822 in Onsbjerg.

 Marriage, Koldby parish register, page 220.  Mouritz Troelsen, age 28, marries Bodil Jensdatter, daughter of Jens Pedersen Kornmaaler, on May 13, 1845.

 Birth/Death, Koldby parish register, page 152.  Stillborn on December 26, 1846.

Death, Koldby parish register, page 289.  Mouritz Troelsen dies young at 31 years on March 18, 1848.  Cause of death is listed on the side but I cannot read it.

Truels Mauritzen family. Father of Thomas Soren Truelsen whose daughter married Charles Kelly

 Marriage, Koldby parish register, page 326.  Truels Mauritzen and Kirsten Thomasdatter are married November 1, 1810.

 Birth, Koldby parish register, page 216.  Barbra Truelsdatter is born January 22, 1813.  She is nowhere to be found after in the vaccination section, deaths through 1837, or confirmations.  The records states she dies on January 28 prior to the christening.

 Birth, Koldby parish register, page 229.  Interestingly Thomas Soren Truelsen's birth is recorded in 2 of the parish registers (see image below).  He was born May 30, 1814.

 Birth, Koldby parish register, page 14.  Mauritz, the last on the page, is born October 18, 1816.

Confirmation, Koldby parish register, page 80.  Mauritz is confirmed in 1831.  I can find him in the 1840 Census in Koldby but no more after that.  He was 23 in that census.

 Birth, Koldby parish register, page 53.  Margrethe is born December 6, 1819.

Death, Koldby parish register, page 175.  Margrethe Truelsdatter, the last on the page, dies June 13, 1829 at the age of 10 1/2.

 Birth, Koldby parish register, page 30.  Lauritz is born April 9, 1823.  He is in the 1840 koldby census and is 17 years of age.  His confirmation is in 1837 (see below).  I cannot find him thereafter in the 1845 census, deaths through 1845, or the comings and goings in the Koldby parish through 1845.  There is a Lauritz Truelsen who is married in Copenhagen in 1847 but his age is listed at 31 years and he appears to be from Viborg.

 Confirmation, Koldby parish register, page 85.  Lauritz is confirmed in 1837.  I find him in the 1840 census at the age of 17 living with his parents.  I do not find him after that.

Death, Koldby parish register, page 168.  Troels Mauritzen dies September 6, 1835 in the village of Koldbye.

Death, Koldby parish register, page 311.  Kirstin Thomasdatter dies December 12, 1855.  She was living with Thomas Soren and his wife.  She was 74 years old.

Ane Dorthe Olesen: Daughter of Ole Clemmensen and niece to Kirstine Clemmensen

 Marriage, Onsbjerg parish register, page 56.  Ane Dorthe Olesen of Tarderup, Orby born in Tarderup August 6, 1855, 28 years old marries Niels Soren Jorgensen of Holdby, born in Orby Tranebjerg parish on April 15, 1859, 24 years old.  They are married November 20, 1883.  Ane's brother Niels Soren Olesen is present.  Of the children of Ole Clemmensen, I am only able at this point to find her.  I cannot find information on her brother Clemmen Olesen or sister Marie Kirstine Olesen.  Her brother Niels Soren Olesen is discussed in a prior post.  There were 10 children in Ole Clemmensen's family but only those four survived to adulthood.  I did find a great deal of information on Niels Soren Jorgensen's family in the census and parish records and updated this in family search but will not include that in the blog.  

 Birth, Tranebjerg parish register, page 16.  Niels Soren is born April 15, 1859 and christened May 29, 1859.  His father is Iver Jorgen Nielsen and mother is Henriette Sophie Sorensen (39 years) of Orby.  Niels had two other siblings, Maren (born 1850) and Jens (born in 1862).  I did search the Tranebjerg parish records and did not find any others born.  I will add Jorgen's parents and family in to family search later.  I did piece together some of Henriette's family from the census and parish records.  Henriette was born when her mother was around 45 years old.  Her oldest sibling that I can find was born in 1795---25 years earlier.

 Birth, Onsbjerg parish register, page 154.  Olga Katrine Sofie Jorgine Jorgensen is born April 29, 1884.  Ane was 28.  Niels Soren Olesen is there.

Birth, Onsbjerg parish register, page 82.  Ole Jorgen, Jorgensen is born December 1, 1885 and christened December 27, 1885.  I cannot find the family after this in the Onsbjerg 1890 census or any other children born to them through 1891.  I do not know what happens to them.

 Marriage, Koldby parish register, page 32.  Niels Soren Olesen of Onbjerg parish born June 27, 1850 marries Ane Margrethe Jorgensen born April 19, 1848.  They are married September 24, 1875.

Birth, Tranebjerg parish register, page 87.  Jensine Dorthea Olsen is born November 15, 1875 in Pillemark.

Birth, Tranebjerg parish register, page 25.  Ole Jorgen Olsen is born February 9, 1879 in Orby.

Death, Tranebjerg parish register, page13.  Ole Jorgen Olsen dies February 27, 1879.

 Birth, Tranebjerg parish register, page 107.  Oline Kathrine Olsen is born September 4, 1880 in Orby.

 Birth, Tranebjerg parish register, page 126.  Jorgine Olsen is born October 6, 1885 in Orby.  Ane Margrethe was 37 years old.  I have looked until 1892 in Tranebjerg and 1891 in Onbjerg parishes and have not found any more children.  The family is in the 1890 Onebjerg census and the 1880 Trangebjerg census.

Anne Clemmensdatter and Family: Sister to Kirstine Clemmensdatter

Birth, Tranebjerg parish register, page 119.  Second to last on the page is Anne Magrethe, born or christened July 1, 1813.  Her parents are listed as Clemmen Sorensen and Maren Olesdatter.  She is born in Branbury.  

Marriage, Tranebjerg parish register, page 146.  Jens Olesen, age 28, marries Anne Margrethe Clemmensdatter, age 24 on November 24, 1837.  Listed as witnesses are Hans Christian Pedersen and Jens Johan Pedersen. Unfortunately, I do not know the names of Jens parents.  There are two Jens listed born in Orby around 1809 which is his approximate birth year and birthplace in the censuses.

 Birth, Tranebjerg parish register, page 21.  Ole Jensen is born October 27?, 1841 in Tranebjerg.  Present are Soren Olsen's wife Mads Jorgensen and Hans Mortensen.

 Birth, Tranebjerg parish register, page 110.  Mette Marie Jensen is born April 12, 1845.  I find both her and her brother living past 1860 in the Census.

Death, Tranebjerg parish register, page 106.  Ane Margrethe Clemmensdatter passes away on April 12, 1871--her daughters birthday.  She was the wife of Jens Olesen Spinders.  She was 58.

Death, Tranebjerg parish register, page 8.  Jens Olsen Spinder passes away August 18, 1876.  He was 67, again placing his birth around 1809.  The 1870 census says he was born in Orby--a village in Tranebjerg parish.
