Niels Soren Olsen Family (Son of Ole Clemmensen and Nephew of Kirstine Clemmensen)

 Marriage, Koldby parish register, page 32.  Niels Soren Olesen of Onbjerg parish born June 27, 1850 marries Ane Margrethe Jorgensen born April 19, 1848.  They are married September 24, 1875.

Birth, Tranebjerg parish register, page 87.  Jensine Dorthea Olsen is born November 15, 1875 in Pillemark.

Birth, Tranebjerg parish register, page 25.  Ole Jorgen Olsen is born February 9, 1879 in Orby.

Death, Tranebjerg parish register, page13.  Ole Jorgen Olsen dies February 27, 1879.

 Birth, Tranebjerg parish register, page 107.  Oline Kathrine Olsen is born September 4, 1880 in Orby.

 Birth, Tranebjerg parish register, page 126.  Jorgine Olsen is born October 6, 1885 in Orby.  Ane Margrethe was 37 years old.  I have looked until 1892 in Tranebjerg and 1891 in Onbjerg parishes and have not found any more children.  The family is in the 1890 Onebjerg census and the 1880 Trangebjerg census.

Anne Clemmensdatter and Family: Sister to Kirstine Clemmensdatter

Birth, Tranebjerg parish register, page 119.  Second to last on the page is Anne Magrethe, born or christened July 1, 1813.  Her parents are listed as Clemmen Sorensen and Maren Olesdatter.  She is born in Branbury.  

Marriage, Tranebjerg parish register, page 146.  Jens Olesen, age 28, marries Anne Margrethe Clemmensdatter, age 24 on November 24, 1837.  Listed as witnesses are Hans Christian Pedersen and Jens Johan Pedersen. Unfortunately, I do not know the names of Jens parents.  There are two Jens listed born in Orby around 1809 which is his approximate birth year and birthplace in the censuses.

 Birth, Tranebjerg parish register, page 21.  Ole Jensen is born October 27?, 1841 in Tranebjerg.  Present are Soren Olsen's wife Mads Jorgensen and Hans Mortensen.

 Birth, Tranebjerg parish register, page 110.  Mette Marie Jensen is born April 12, 1845.  I find both her and her brother living past 1860 in the Census.

Death, Tranebjerg parish register, page 106.  Ane Margrethe Clemmensdatter passes away on April 12, 1871--her daughters birthday.  She was the wife of Jens Olesen Spinders.  She was 58.

Death, Tranebjerg parish register, page 8.  Jens Olsen Spinder passes away August 18, 1876.  He was 67, again placing his birth around 1809.  The 1870 census says he was born in Orby--a village in Tranebjerg parish.

Ole Clemmensen Family: Brother to Kirstine Clemmensdatter

 Marriage, Besser parish register, page 214.  Number 13 near the top of the page is the marriage of Ole Clemmensen, age 31, to Anekatrine Nielsdatter, age 26.  The date of marriage is November 30, 1849.

 Birth, Onsbjerg parish register, page 25.  Niels Soren Olesen is born June 27, 1850.

  Birth, Onsbjerg parish register, page 37.  Clemmen Olesen is born July 27, 1852.

    Birth, Onsbjerg parish register, page 102.  Ane Dorthe Olesen is born August 6, 1855.

 Birth, Onsbjerg parish register, page 110.  Marie Kirstine Olesen is born October 17, 1857.  This is the last of the children of Ole and Ane Kathrine who survive into adulthood.
 

     Birth, Onsbjerg parish register, page 3.  Jens Olesen is born April 23, 1860.
 

 Death, Onsbjerg parish register, page 21.  Death Jens Olesen dies May 12, 1864.  He was four years old.  No cause of death is listed.
 

   Birth, Onsbjerg parish register, page 17.   This is an amazing record.  Jens Olesen is born November 16, 1864.  In the last column of the page is written:  "Trilling"or Triplets.  Below is the record of his two sisters born the same day.

 Death, Onsbjerg parish register, page 22.  Jens Olesen dies November 18, 1864, two days after birth.

Birth, Onsbjerg parish register, page 103.  Jensine Olesen is born January 3, 1867.
 

 Death, Onsbjerg parish register, page 80.  Jensine Olesen dies April 8, 1867.

 Birth, Onsbjerg parish register, page 106.  Jensine Olesen is born December 16, 1867.  She is the last child I can find in the parish registers to Ole and Ane Kathrine.

Death, Onsbjerg parish register, page 83.  Jensine Olesen dies the same day she is born.

Death, Onsbjerg parish register, page 216.  Ole Clemmensen dies December 10, 1897.  He was 79.  His wife is still living.  He was born in 1818.  His mother was Ane Dorthe Jensdatter.  

 Death, Onsbjerg parish register, page 201.  Ane Cathrine Nielsdatter passes away July 7, 1919 at the age of 96 years.  She passes away in Tanderup, Onsbjerg parish.  She was born February 16, 1823 and was the daughter of Niels Pedersen Tistrup and Mette Kirstine Christensdatter.  She was married to Ole Clemmensen.

Niels Carl Otto Schou Birth and Death Records

 Birth, Trinitatis parish register, page 399.  I found this record within 30 minutes of looking.  All I knew was that he was born in Copenhagen around 1826.  That's a pretty intimidating number of parish registers to look through.  I said a prayer I'd find him today and God answers prayers.  Niels Carl Otto was born March 2, 1826 as recorded above.  His father was Niels Pedersen (?) Shou and Ann Frederika Shou (?).  I do find a Niels Carl Otto Schou listed in what looks to be a boys home in the 1840 census.  He is 14 years old (b. 1826) and the parish was Sankt Anne Oster Kvarter.  Beyond that I next find him when he is married to Kirsten Clemmensdatter.  He joined the church and emigrated to Utah with his wife.

Death Certificate, Box Elder County 1910.  Niels was 84 years old at his death September 28, 1910.  His parents are listed as Nels Peter Schow and his mother is Anna Fredericka Greenbeck of Denmark.  His birth is listed as March 2, 1826.  He was a shoemaker

Thomas Soren Truelsen Family

 Marraige, Koldby Parish.  Thomas Soren Truelsen of Koldby marries Kirsten Clemmensdatter of Koldby, November 11, 1839.  Thomas is related to us as he is Maren Kirstine Truelsen's father.  Maren was the mother to Louesa Kirstine Kelly.

 Birth, Kildby Parish register, Page 10.  Truels Thomasen Ruus (?) is born October 4, 1840.

 Birth, Kildby parish register, page 93.  Maren Kirstine Thomasen Ruus (?) is born September 29, 1843.

 Death, Koldby Parish Register, page 305.  Maren passes away February 12, 1844.

 Birth, Koldby Parish Register, page 27.  Clemmen Thomasen is born Jan 23, 1848.

 Death, Koldby parish register, page 291.  Truels, the eldest child, dies August 2, 1850.  He was 9 years old.

 Birth, Koldby parish register, page 118.  Maren Kirstine Thomasen is born April 28, 1852.  It was common to name a child the same was as a prior deceased child.

Death, Koldby Parish register, page 295.  Thomas Truelsen Ruus (Sp ?) passes away December 22, 1856.  He was 43 years old.

Marriage, Koldby parish register, page 8.  The widow Kirsten Clemmensdatter marries Neils Otto Skou of Koldby parish on October 23, 1857.

 Birth, Koldby parish register, page 139.  Anne Frederikke Skou is born to Niels Carl Otto Skou and Kirsten Clemmensdatter of Koldby on December 13, 1858.  Both Niels and Kirsten would emigrate to Utah and die in Brigham City.  

Anders Jensen's Maternal Grandmother Else Jeppesdatter and Family

 Hjorring Parish Census Map.  The majority of the parishes mentioned are in Horns County.  Else Jeppesdatter was the maternal grandmother of Anders Jensen who was the father of Nicolena who married Charles Frederick Nelson.   In the following post I have found all the children listed on familysearch.org except one, Marie, born March 19, 1795 supposedly listed in the Flade register.  I think many of the children die but again am only able to find one death record.    

 Birth, Aasted Parish, page 57.  Else is born to Jep Jensen? and Anne Jensdatter and is christened December 4, 1763.  I cannot find her husband's birth record but the 1787 census puts him being born around 1754.  

 Marriage, Aasted parish, page 158.  On October 4, 1783, Christen Nielsen (?) and Else Jeppesdatter are married.  

 Birth, Gaerum parish, page 351.  On the top of the page Anne is born to Christen ? and Else Jeppesdatter in January of 1784.

 Birth, Gaerum parish, page 352.  Anne Catherine is born to Christen Nielsen and Else Jeppesdatter in 1785.  The left side of the page is lost so I'm not sure what month or day she was christened.  The end of the paragraph says July 19 which may be her birthdate.  

 Birth, Gaerum parish, page 353.  Niels is born or christened to Christen Nielsen and Else on December 2, 1786.

 1787 Gaerum parish census, page 3.  Christen Nielsen is 33.  Else Jeppesdatter is 24.  Anne is 3, Cathrine is 2 and Niels is 1.  Also living with them is Jens Nielsen, Christen's brother.

 Birth, Gaerum parish, page 353.  Karen is born or christened July 6, 1788.

 Birth, Gaerum parish, page 134.  Jeppe is born April 6, 1791.

 Death, Gaerum parish, page 247.  Christen Nielsen's son Jeppe dies July 1, 1791.

 Birth, Gaerum parish register, page 134.  On the same page as Jeppe's birth is Maren, the last entry, born May 6, 1792.  They did have a Karen that was born in 1788 so she may have died though I cannot find a death record for her.  

 Birth, Gaerum parish register, page 137.  Karen is born in June of 1794.

 Birth, Flade parish register, page 23.  The family has not moved as they are in Kioret (sp?) where all of their other children have been born but they entry is in a different parish for whatever reason.  Kirsten is born or christened March 24, 1796.

 Birth, Gaerum parish register, page 140.  Maria is born March 19, 1797.

 Birth, Gaerum parish register, page 142.  Christiane is born Mar 14, 1799.  This would be the last child born to the couple as in the 1801 census Else is listed as a widow so Christen Nielsen dies between 1799 and 1801.

 1801 Gaerum parish census, page 11.  Else is living in Kjaeret but is now a widow.  She is living with another couple.  Her only two children living with her are Anne Cathrine, 15, and Christiane, age 2.

Death, Gaerum parish register, page 157.  The widow Else Jeppesdatter dies November 16, 1816.  She was the wife of Christen Nielsen and was 53 years old.
